The Marin LGBTQ+ Center is dedicated to creating a world where LGBTQ+ people are valued, respected and empowered to live their lives with authenticity and pride, providing a safe haven and hub for connection, support and community building in Marin County

The Center supports the needs of the entire LGBTQ community and allies through robust programming. We also connect people to a rich network of organizations in San Francisco serving the LGBTQ community.

Children’s Mental Health Resource Center We work closely to educate medical and mental health providers, educators, and families on the unique symptom presentation of mood disorder, bipolar disorder, and FOH in childhood and early adolescence. We share guidance and resources to support providers and families to access an accurate diagnosis and an effective treatment plan.

Wellifyteen runs a teen drop in and hang out space in Northgate mall called Karma Club.

Brief substance abuse intervention for youth ages 13-18. Long term (6 months) family therapy for youth on probation. Mental health services include counseling, case management, trauma response, parent education, teacher consultation, and other assistance.

Ambassadors of Hope and Opportunity (AHO) is Marin’s only nonprofit serving homeless teens and young adults ages 16 to 25 who represent 1/3 of Marin’s homeless population.

Side by Side is a Joint Commission accredited mental and behavioral health organization. They provide services related to behavioral and mental health, early intervention in schools, LBGTQ issues, transitional housing and special education.

Huckleberry Youth Programs provides Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral (SBIRT) services through the San Rafael.

Community based organizations are working with schools (Kindergarten through eighth grade) to prevent mental health concerns, as well as identify and respond to mental health concerns early in their emergence. Services include staff training, identification and referral of students in need of services, social emotional skills curriculum for students, and group and individual services for students and family members.

Classes offered in 10-week series in the fall and spring, co-led by a clinician and Family Support Specialist. There are separate groups for children up to age twelve and another for teenagers
